On July 15, 2005 in Ventura, California, members of the Working Riesenschnauzer

Federation, in conjunction with the Anacapa Working Dog Association

hosted an Alfred Hupfauer Obedience and Protection Seminar

assisted by Renate Rank.

During the week long Seminar WRSF members decided to form a working club

that would allow members of the western United States and Canada more

opportunities to train and exhibit their Riesenschnauzers, promote the sport

of Schutzhund, hold trials and conformation evaluations, and to help

individuals train and prepare for advanced competition.

The WSRS fully supports the WRSF in it's efforts and encourages

active membership.
